MISSION
That’s my mission. To pathe the way for women to stop feeling like they’re always fighting to get back up, and to stop feeling a need to prove themselves over and over again. We don’t need to take a back seat and let others shine.
We can have all that we want.
We can be all we ever wanted to be.
We can be more.

I’ve been there, seen it, and lived it. I fought to prove myself as a lawyer in the corporate world for 20 years, never really fitting in and being forced into a box that just wasn’t me. And since leaving that world I’ve met and worked with so many incredible entrepreneurs who feel those same feelings and hold themselves back because they’ve been pushed down in the past.

The community of female entrepreneurs online inspires me every single day. It’s my favourite part of what I do, and helping women to harness and share their talent fulfils me like the corporate world never could.
Because when you have the right processes, contracts and documents you will feel ready to put yourself out there. Ready to push through the fear and create the life you want, setting you up for success like never before.

When you feel safe and protected, anything is possible
Hi, I’m Jo, and I’ve been a lawyer for over 20 years. But it hasn’t always been that way. And sometimes I wonder how I’m even here. I’ve had many hurdles, from when I was growing up right through my life, but haven’t we all. Growing up, we lived on a council estate, and my parents split when I was 18 months. So there wasn’t a lot of safety back then.
But I was always very independent, I had to be, and I think I was about 8 when I decided to be a lawyer. I knew I didn’t want to get caught in a vicious circle of negative behaviour. I wanted to take a different path. I chose a different way. And used my drive and focus to make it happen. My life probably should have turned out differently, but I went for it. I saved to go to University and paid for it all myself.
After graduating I found my financial independence. I had a great wage, my first daughter and we had some incredible years. But looking back it was because I felt like I needed to settle. I created a version of normal life. The life I wanted but never witnessed. But it wasn’t me. And I got close to taking that path I could’ve taken when I was younger. But I got out. I escaped. I had a vision for my life and decided to pay my strengths forwards and make it a reality.
I’ve had amazing highs, in business and in life, with my daughter and my twins, but I’ve also had tough moments. Moments where I burnt out. I’ve lost myself, my career and felt broken. I’ve felt like a failure, filled with worry and anxiety. But I’ve always kept going. Always fought back. The universe has tried to stop me over and over again but I did it. I’m here.
And since January 2020, the women I’ve met and worked with, and every single client I’ve worked for, makes me smile when I’m around them. Society may not always be set up for us to thrive, but things they do blow my mind every day.
Because nothing makes my light shine brighter than seeing other women shine theirs. And looking back it’s what was always missing when I was doing big corporate deals. It all felt a bit meaningless. A bit soulless. But when you know the person, when you’re invested in who they are, and what they do all of that changes.
Now I want to break the stereotypes about what being a lawyer and needing a lawyer means. No jargon, no acting a certain way and no fear. I’m here to redefine what it means and show you that it can be different.
