Hi, I’m Jo, and I’ve been a lawyer for over 20 years. But it hasn’t always been straightforward, and sometimes I wonder how I’m even here. I’ve had many hurdles, from when I was growing up, right through my life, but haven’t we all. I’ve seen women be held back because they are a subject of their past, but I knew that wasn’t me. I wasn’t getting stuck in that cycle, I wanted to protect myself, and move forwards with confidence. I had a vision for my life and decided to pay my strengths forwards and make it a reality.
That’s why I’m here. Because nothing makes my light shine brighter than seeing other women shine theirs. Looking back it’s what was always missing when I was in big corporate boardrooms. It all felt a bit meaningless. Soulless. But when you know the person, when you’re invested in who they are, and what they do, all of that changes.

I have run my businesses for many years
